Pre Treatment: Outlining your needs
Halo can improve smoothness and vibrancy with a lighter treatment or restore a remarkably youthful glow with a deeper treatment. The right course of treatment for you will be determined during your initial consultation. We will personalize a plan that meets your unique lifestyle and skin concerns so you can achieve your aesthetic goals within your preferred timeline. When you arrive at your Halo appointment, we will apply a topical numbing cream to your skin 30 minutes to an hour prior to treatment to minimize discomfort.
During Treatment: Targeting your concerns
We will begin your Halo by measuring the treated area with motion-tracking technology to ensure an even and uniform treatment. Halo’s integrated cooling technology will then take effect to further reduce any discomfort. You may occasionally experience warm, prickly sensations while the laser treats your skin, although they are usually well-tolerated. This is Halo simultaneously targeting the skin’s outer layers and the deeper dermis to spur intense skin renewal and reveal stunning results. Once your treatment is complete, this sunburned feeling could linger for another 30 to 60 minutes.
Post Treatment: Peeling, healing and skin renewal
For two to three days, your skin will continue to appear red as it heals and regenerates. Then for three to five days, your skin will begin flaking off to reveal your fresh, glowing skin. Peeling and skin renewal may last for a week, depending on the severity of your treatment. During this time, refrain from wearing makeup or using exfoliating agents to not irritate your skin or interfere with your results. You will receive a post-treatment skin care kit to bring home to help calm your skin and accelerate the healing process. It’s also critical to avoid direct sun exposure and apply sunscreen daily for at least seven days post treatment.
Results: A long-lasting, healthy glow
Your initial Halo results will appear within two to five days following treatment and will continue to improve over time. The most dramatic pigmentary improvements are typically seen after two to three weeks, followed by months of skin renewal. Best of all, your gorgeous results can last for years!
